Great Start to Season!!

What a great start to this season so far! Our first game against Virginia was a great success for Mallala.
Our A1, A4, A5 Home and Away (against Long Plains), C1 and C2 teams all won their first game! Our A2 team drew and our B grade lost by 1 point! So only our A3 team had a loss for the day, but is looking forward to future success. Our newly formed A6 team has not yet hit the court. There are two byes for them in the season, due to all Clubs not been able to fill this grade.

We started out with extremely high numbers this year. We had 64 registered and paid players on our registration night in February. We currently have 60 registered players filling our 7 senior teams. We must give a big thank you to Josie McArdle, APNA President, in her recommendation of fielding A6 this year. Also, to the other Clubs who have changed their teams around at the last minute to fill this A6 team. They have truly helped us out immensely.

Our Coaches this year are: A1 Courtney Kerr, A2 Megan Rimmer, A3 Rosie Eckermann, A4 Dawn Buckby, A5 Home Claire Blacket, A5 Away Jodie Wilson, A6 Sharna Wildbore. Junior Coaches – B Grade Amy Jordan, C1 Heather Forder, C2 Jodie Wilson, D1 Penny Matthew, D2 Clare Bruggemann, D3 (skills) Tarnia Pratt.
